Take a look at the solar system

Have you ever looked up at the night sky? You were looking out into space. Nobody knows how far space goes. We only know that it is supper huge.

You have a home in this vast place. That home is earth. The Earth is special. It is the only spot in space known to have life. The earth is parts of the space neighborhood called the solar system. The sun is at the center. The Earth travel around the sun and so are the other planets in the solar system. There are eight planets around the sun including Earth. Now let’s meet our neighbor and also the biggest planet Jupiter. Jupiter is famous for its red spot. The spot is a huge storm that has lasted in hundreds of years.  Venus is the brightest planet in the night sky and it is burning hot. It’s as twice as hot as an oven. Mars is rocky and dusty. Its canyon is longer than the distance across the United State. Saturn has rings. Mercury has a crater. Neptune and Uranus have icy cold weather. And guess what? Pluto is not called a planet any more. Why? Because it is too small that it should be a dwarf planet.

Our solar system is so cool. Bet you don’t know what cooler?
